About

Hello and welcome!

I’m Steph, and I’m interested in everything – especially if you can explain it in under a minute.

I write, make art, craft, take photos, record videos, and sometimes sell my crative work. I live in England, with a cute but judgemental cat, a garden, an ever-expanding collection of books “to read”, and a commitment to learning about my own brain (and sharing what I’ve learned!) since I realised I had ADHD at 31 years old.

Expect posts about whatever’s on my mind, including: my experience living with ADHD (and how I’m learning to live differently); my latest art and craft or DIY project; exploring intersectionality in privilege; a cute picture of my cat in the garden; recipes and how-tos; photos from a trip; and info on projects, collaborations, things I’m up to that you might be interested in doing too.

For work, I’m a career polymath with a love of learning new skills; aquiring new projects; organising interactive events both for in-person and online; and engaging and developing people. If you’re looking to collaborate, you can find a loose breakdown of my CV and contact information here.

Things on my mind at the moment:

Reconnecting with my artistic practice

The relationship between productivity & wellness, and play

Lots of gardening

Cocktails

Dungeons & Dragons

Collaborating with the ADHD Hub (www.adhd-hub.com)

The British education system

The evolution of languages and belief systems

Brains & neurodiversity

Making my world more inclusive

How dopamine supports the body

Finding a new big project to work on

Old pagan practices, folk histories, and non-colonial perspectives on “traditional” history

The fact that Samuel Pepys buried CHEESE and WINE in his garden to keep it safe during the Great Fire of London.

Water and the sea – I’m painting a lot of oceans at the moment!
